Community Guidelines

PROOFOFLOVE.EARTH welcomes original messages about:

• Love between partners, friends, and family;
• Kindness from strangers;
• People who changed your life;
• Communities showing up for one another;
• Memories connected to meaningful places;
• Acts of generosity or compassion;
• Gratitude;
• Hope;
• People, animals, places, or moments you love; and
• The small things that make being alive feel worthwhile.

Anonymous submissions are welcome.

Your selected map location may become public if your submission is approved.

Do not use PROOFOFLOVE.EARTH to expose another person’s:

• Home address;
• Current whereabouts;
• Workplace or school when sharing it could create a safety or privacy risk;
• Phone number or email address;
• Financial information;
• Medical or other highly sensitive information; or
• Other private information they would not reasonably expect you to publish.

If you’re sharing your own precise location, make sure you’re comfortable making it public.

Please submit your own words.

Don’t copy substantial portions of:

• Song lyrics;
• Poems;
• Books;
• Articles;
• Movies or television scripts; or
• Other copyrighted works

unless you created the material, have permission, the material is in the public domain, or you otherwise have a legal right to use it.

PROOFOFLOVE.EARTH may reject or remove content when ownership or authorization is unclear.

You may talk about other people, but consider their privacy, safety, dignity, and rights.

You usually do not need someone’s full legal name for a message to matter.

If identifying someone would expose sensitive information, create a safety concern, facilitate harassment, or invade their privacy, leave identifying details out.

Do not use a love note to publish serious accusations or harmful claims about another person.

A person affected by a submission may contact us to request review or removal.

PROOFOFLOVE.EARTH may reject or remove content involving:

• Threats or encouragement of violence;
• Harassment, stalking, bullying, or intimidation;
• Hate speech or targeted dehumanization;
• Doxxing;
• Encouragement or facilitation of self-harm;
• Sexual exploitation;
• Sexual content involving minors;
• Graphic or gratuitously disturbing content;
• Fraud or scams;
• Spam;
• Malicious impersonation;
• Defamatory or unlawfully false claims;
• Illegal activity; or
• Attempts to use the platform to harm another person.

A submission doesn’t become acceptable simply because it contains positive language.

Messages intended to humiliate, expose, threaten, manipulate, harass, intimidate, or attack another person may be rejected or removed.

Do not attempt to:

• Compromise PROOFOFLOVE.EARTH;
• Circumvent moderation or security protections;
• Access private or administrative areas without authorization;
• Overwhelm the Service with automated requests;
• Manipulate submissions or likes through unauthorized automation; or
• Use automated tools to harvest people’s identifying or location information.

PROOFOFLOVE.EARTH is independently operated and has limited moderation capacity.

We may attempt to review submissions, but we cannot guarantee that every submission will be reviewed or that any submission will be reviewed within a particular period of time.

Submissions may remain pending indefinitely or may be deleted or rejected without review because of submission volume, available moderation capacity, technical or operational limitations, safety or legal concerns, suspected violations of these Guidelines or the Terms of Use, or other reasonable reasons.

Failure to review or publish a submission does not necessarily mean the submission violated these Guidelines.

For submissions that are reviewed, we may approve, reject, or remove content based on these Guidelines, the Terms of Use, safety concerns, legal obligations, complaints, privacy concerns, intellectual-property concerns, or the purpose of PROOFOFLOVE.EARTH.

Not every situation can be predicted in advance. We may use reasonable judgment when content creates a privacy, safety, legal, operational, or community concern that is not specifically listed here.

Publication does not guarantee that a submission will remain online permanently.

Approval of a submission only means that it was permitted to appear on PROOFOFLOVE.EARTH at the time it was reviewed.

It does not mean that PROOFOFLOVE.EARTH has verified the submission, determined that every statement is true, endorsed the views expressed, or guaranteed that the submission complies with every applicable law or right of another person.

If a post contains your private information, infringes your rights, violates these Guidelines, or creates another serious concern, contact:

Include enough information to identify the post and briefly explain the issue.

We will review the request as appropriate.
